Service Description

This service is for (1 time) ice machine cleaning and maintenance. For better pricing/quantity please browse our Cleaning Plan section for year around coverage. This service does not cover any repairs that may be required after a technician inspects the ice machine prior to the cleaning process. Any additional repairs or labor outside of standard cleaning will incur additional charges. Upon placing your order, you will be directed to book your cleaning or cleanings. Additional fees may be charged for rescheduling cleanings with less than 48 hours notice.  The amount of cleanings selected is based on a yearly basis beginning with the first cleaning you schedule. All cleanings must be completed within a 12 month period from the first cleaning. Ice machine cleaning is a crucial process that involves removing mineral deposits, mold, and bacteria buildup from the machine's surfaces to ensure safe and hygienic ice production. The machine should be disassembled, components cleaned, and ice storage bin sanitized using a food-grade cleaning solution as per manufacturer's recommendations. Regular cleaning maintains ice quality, prevents the growth of harmful bacteria, and prolongs the machine's lifespan. It's recommended to clean the machine every six months or more frequently with heavy usage.
